I’ve always had an interest in technology, ever since I was really young. As soon as I could understand words I started playing on my fathers computer. I grew up on windows 95 and 98, and did most of my tinkering and learning on XP. I got my first computer, which was a custom made desktop, in 2002. I used Windows on it for about 6 months. I can’t count how many times I’ve completely reformatted my hard drive and re-installed Windows. I can pretty much do it with my eyes closed now.
I got a little, well very, adventurous and started looking into Linux. I started off with Suse 9.1 Personal. And to this day I had the most fun on that distro. It was amazing how many problems I ran into, but to me that was the most fun. Solving all these little issues like being able to play .wmv files and such. I’ve pretty much tried, I don’t want to say all, but most distros. Wether it be for a few hours or a few days. I’m still fond of Suse, Fedora and Ubuntu.
I finally went to Mac about a year and a half ago. I must say I love it, everything just works. The only thing I have a problem with is, it’s not so easy to partition your hard drive so I could load up Linux. For this reason I haven’t been totally up to date on Linux distros.
Currently I am attending school at ITT Technical Insitute and should graduate in the Fall/Winter. I am also a Mac Specialist at my local Apple store. I just started working there a couple months ago, and I love it. I am learning something new everyday.
Bottom Line: I enjoy long walks on the beach, candle lit dinners and spending all night talking about shopping….
